Yes. Many restaurants in Ibiza Town, Santa Eulària, Sant Antoni and inland villages such as Santa Gertrudis, Sant Joan or Sant Josep stay open all winter, although some close between November and February or shorten their hours. The Ibiza Calendar directory shows the places open in winter.
The markets that carry on in winter are Las Dalias in Sant Carles on Saturdays, the Sant Joan craft market on Sundays and the Forada market on Saturday mornings, plus the Mercat Vell and Mercat Nou in Ibiza Town on weekdays. Check times and changes in the Ibiza Calendar agenda.
Ibiza's almond trees blossom between late January and mid February, depending on how cold the winter is. The best-known place to see them is the Santa Agnès de Corona valley in the north-west of the island, with signposted paths between almond fields. Weekday mornings are the quietest time to go.
January brings the Three Kings parade on the 5th, Sant Antoni on the 17th with the blessing of the animals in Sant Antoni de Portmany, and Santa Agnès on the 21st. February brings carnival and the Santa Eulària des Riu fiestas around the 12th, with ball pagès folk dancing, markets and fireworks.
Ibiza's big clubs, such as Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa and [UNVRS], hold their opening parties between late April and May and announce the dates during the winter. In the meantime there are one-off parties at venues in Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni. Ibiza Calendar publishes every opening as soon as it is confirmed.
